Viscosity, as represented by Equation 1. To determine the Reynolds number in this

case, we experimentally obtained values for Fluid Velocity, Column Diameter,

and Viscosity:

V=0.168 ft/s

D=1.5 in (or 1.5/12 ft.)

v= 1.052E-5 ft2

When we substitute these values into equation 1, we obtain a Reynolds

number of 2000.
